It&#8217;s not a big change but there are some rules you must be aware of:<\/p>\n<p>1) all the theme files must be compressed into a zip (Mac archives occasionally create problems we suggest you use windows e.g. 7-ZIP to create the archive)<\/p>\n<p>2) The archive must not contain any root directory = .css directly visible when the archive is opened.<\/p>\n<p>3) the archive must be named after the theme name e.g. mytheme = mytheme.zip<\/p>\n<p>4) the .css file within the archive must be called after the theme e.g. mytheme = mytheme.css Example:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/freshtomato.org\/tomatothemebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/ScreenShot108.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-413\" alt=\"ScreenShot108\" src=\"https:\/\/freshtomato.org\/tomatothemebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/ScreenShot108-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>5) Theme naming convention [valid from 14\/03\/2013 and not retrospective]:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>no special characters such as $,%,&amp; or anything you wouldn&#8217;t put in a filename<\/li>\n<li>use lowercase only<\/li>\n<li>split words with &#8220;<strong>_<\/strong>&#8221; (underscore)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">[mandatory]<\/span> begin with the theme name.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">[optional]<\/span> hw specific (if any) e.g. containing logos for asus\/cisco\/buffalo a.s.o.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">[suggested]<\/span> release version (<b>positive integers<\/b>) so v1,v2&#8230; but not v1.1<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">[optional]<\/span> attribute &#8211; alternative version description (e.g. a colour)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">[optional]<\/span> attribute &#8211; alternative version description (e.g. anything)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>you get the picture!<\/p>\n<p>Putting everything together it would be<\/p>\n<pre><strong>name_hw_version_attribute_attribute<\/strong><\/pre>\n<pre><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">mytheme<\/span>_<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">cisco<\/span>_<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">v2<\/span>_<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">red<\/span>_<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">nopadding<\/span><\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finally publish your theme on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linksysinfo.org\/index.php?forums\/tomato-firmware.33\/\">tomato forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is suggested that you provide a brief description so that we can fill in the article where the theme is going to be presented and the screenshot\/s in png format (of the theme only, no browser\/os)<\/p>\n<p>Regards<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TTB changes the way themes are made.
