In this example we&#8217;ll use cifs and mytheme.zip:<\/p>\n<p>1) Download mytheme.zip into cifs1. To do so refer to the standard URL <em>https:\/\/freshtomato.org\/tomatothemebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/<\/em> + theme name + .zip<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><em>cd \/cifs1<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><em>wget -O theme.zip <em>https:\/\/freshtomato.org\/tomatothemebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/<\/em>mytheme.zip<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>2) Extract your archive into cifs1:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><em>unzip -o mytheme.zip -d \/cifs1\/mytheme<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>3) rename the .css file<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\">mv \/cifs1\/mytheme\/mytheme.css \/cifs1\/mytheme\/custom.css<\/span><\/p>\n<p>4) Copy the files into tomato (RAM):<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><em>cp -r \/cifs1\/mytheme\/* \/var\/wwwext\/<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>5) Log into your tomato and go into Administration\/Admin access\/Colour scheme<\/p>\n<p>6) Select the option<span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"> <strong>Custom (ext\/custom.css)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>7) Save<\/p>\n<p>8) Reload your tomato interface in the browser<\/p>\n<p>9) If you want the theme to load from cifs1 automtically (e.g. after a reboot) add this line as per point 4) in the Administration\/cifs client\/Execute When Mounted<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><em>cp -r \/cifs1\/mytheme\/* \/var\/wwwext\/<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This method is the traditional one and assume you have access to some sort of external storage e.g. cifs or usb.
